In the Learning and Development Faculty, we provide support for any of our learners who need help to access the curriculum. We offer small group classes with a bespoke curriculum to ensure every pupil can achieve their potential, including dedicated nurture classes in S1 and S2.  The faculty supports pupils with any learning need they may have, including support for pupils with dyslexia, ASD, ADHD and those who have English as an additional language.  We work closely with parents and pastoral care staff to ensure we are offering the correct type and level of support.

The faculty includes our Learning and Communication resource. This is a specialist provision which caters for up to 30 S1-6 secondary aged young people with Language & Communication Needs including Autism.  Young people come from all over the city but predominantly the North West of Glasgow. There is a set admissions criteria and young people are referred through multi-agency Learning Community Joint Support Teams with decisions on placements made by the City Inclusion Group.
