S1/S2

Pupils will learn a combination of Biology, Physics and Chemistry throughout the first two years of secondary school.

The first year course is called Mission to Mars that links all aspects of science to the one project. The topic includes the astronaut, the launch, and the journey and finally ending on life on Mars.

S2 topics are split up more obviously with the topics:

Biodiversity – Sampling techniques, classification & factors that affect Biodiversity.

Essential energy – Types of Energy and Energy sources.

Forensics – Fingerprinting, DNA & trace analysis.
